The batch runner tool enables you to quickly build up a batch run of multiple simulations from your current Flood Modeller project. All simulations can then be set running, managed by Flood Modeller and running concurrently or sequentially (depending on available processors).
Tell me what simulation types can be used in the Batch Runner
Your batch can consist of any combination of:
- 1D river simulations
- 1D urban simulations
- 1D river linked to 1D urban and/or TUFLOW integrated simulations
- 2D simulations
- 2D linked to 1D river and/or 1D urban integrated simulations
Open the Batch Runner from the Simulation tab by clicking Run Batch.
The batch runner tool is designed to batch together into a single process a collection of multiple simulations. These can also be coupled with a collection of post-processing operations performed on the outputs from the batched simulations. Alternatively, the post-processing can be run in isolation within a batch, e.g. to analyse results already generated.
Post-processing options are:
- Extract time series data from 1D river results in csv format – using TabularCSV
- Extract charts plotted from 1D river results in jpeg format – these can be time series, long sections, cross sections or XY plots
The following guides detail the method for specifying batch post-processing.
