    Article Summary

To create a time series settings file for your Batch Runner simulations, set up analysis in TabularCSV and select File > Save to create a tcs file (text file with TabularCSV settings). Access the TabularCSV software from the Results tab of the main toolbar:

The software opens in a new window, with the active network and results file (if available) automatically preloaded. The tool enables you to configure the outputs required from the referenced results file. The options available are:

    • Node(s) – choose outputs from one or multiple nodes selected from a list of all network nodes

    • Variables – choose one of the calculated output variables (only one can be selected)

    • Time period – extract data from an entire simulation period or a subset of this. Use the output frequency or output at longer intervals

    • Output format – multiple options available, e.g. time in rows or columns

These settings are specified across multiple tabs in the TabularCSV interface, which is shown below:

When all settings have been defined these can be saved by selecting Save Settings from the File menu (upper left corner). These are saved to a text file with file extension “.tcs”. This file can then be imported into the batch runner tool and associated with one or multiple simulations listed in the batch.
