Article Summary

If on opening the software, you receive the pop-up No licence found, the most common cause is that your licence is out of date for the version of Flood Modeller you are trying to open.

Note:
Please be aware a v5 licence will only work for Flood Modeller v5.1 and earlier. A v6 licence will only work for Flood Modeller v6.0 and later.

If receiving this pop-up, first confirm you are opening the version of Flood Modeller that matches your licence, as per the note above. If you are unsure which licence you have, or would like to update to Flood Modeller v6.0 or later, please contact support@floodmodeller.com.

If you have confirmed you are using the a version 6 licence, and still receive this pop-up when trying to access v6.0 or later, your licence may need updating. This process is required annually, or whenever you purchase additional products. To update your licence, please contact us at support@floodmodeller.com.

If the above does not resolve the issue, the following suggestions may help.

  1. The USB dongle is not recognised. You may try to resolve this by following the instructions in Is my dongle working?
  2. You have reached the limit of available concurrent instances of Flood Modeller. The details of how many instances are available through your licence are explained in How does my Flood Modeller licence work? For further instances, you may need to purchase additional licences.
