On completion of a 2D simulation (2D only, or 2D linked to river and/or urban), you can load the results to view directly in the Map view of the interface. These can then also be animated to further enhance visualisation of the simulation results.
Note
This is just one way to load results. An alternative option is to use the Add GIS Data button, please see Additional details on 2D results for further details.
To load 2D results:
- In the Simulations section of the Project panel, select the simulation name.
- Right-click and navigate to Load 2D Time Series to open a new window showing available variables and timesteps. All variables and timesteps are selected by default. To only display a selection, click the button above the relevant field(s) to Deselect all, and then individually select the variables and timesteps of interest.NoteVarious check-boxes are provided on this window to additionally load check grids, diagnostic logs, mass balance files and connected networks (if applicable).
- Click OK to visualise the results on the Map view. Each variable, and the maximum extent of these, will also be added as a layer within the Layers panel.
