Add River Section to network

Note that to add a River Section (or any other node) to a river network, you can first Start a new river network or Load a river network. Alternatively, if you select a node to add (see below) with no network loaded, Flood Modeller will assume you want to start a new network, and first prompt you for a network name and save location.
Please note, this guide refers to the River Section node, however the same method applies for many other types of river nodes.
Initially, confirm you are in 1D River selection mode. Click on the 1D River Build tab and select a node in your network. Your new node will be added downstream of the selected node (creating a new row below the selected node/row in the 1D River Network panel).
Note: If your network contains no nodes, click the top row of your network in the 1D River Network panel, named General.
On the 1D River Build tab, click on the River Section button so it is highlighted blue. Then on the map, click in the location you would like to place your River Section.
A pop-up window will prompt you for a label for your node. You will need to ensure your River Section node label is not the same as another River Section node label in your network. For some nodes, connectivity is determined by the node label (e.g. a Flow-Time boundary node will have the same label as the River Section node it connects to).
Note: You can also add River Section nodes via the right-click menu from the 1D River Network panel!
Once you've added a new River Section node, recall we double-click to open and edit the properties. You can also Move a River Section and Delete a River Section if needed.
