    Article Summary

To review models and simulation results, it may be helpful to see graphically the values interim rule variables have been calculated as.

This enables users to easier understand when structures operated and why, and can also be beneficial to assist in debugging any issues with the specified logical rules.

    Note:

Initially you will need to run a simulation with a network with logical rules defined. From v6.2, this will automatically create a new results file with extension .zrv.

    Steps

    1. In the Results tab, click Time Series.

    2. In the Time Series Selection window, click the Add results/cal file(s)... button.

    3. Select Rule Variables in the Variables list provided to add this data to the plot. The option is also provide to plot the Rule Number, for additional clarity when you have multiple rules defined.

    4. Select the Node, the Plot Time Range, and any additional Variables, and proceed to Plot the data, in the usual manner for Time Series plots
