To edit a Subcatchment, in the 1D Urban Build tab, initially confirm you are in 1D Urban selection mode by ensuring the toggle is coloured blue.
Click the Subcatchment you would like to edit in the map view or in the 1D Urban Network panel to highlight it. Then in the 1D Urban Build tab, click Edit Subcatchment.
The editing toolbar will now appear to the right in the 1D Urban Build tab.
The editing toolbar contains the following functionality:
Add Vertex - click this button, then click on your Subcatchment outline in the map view to add vertices
Move Vertex - click this button, then click on a vertex of your Subcatchment in the map view and drag to a new location
Delete Vertex - click this button, then click on a vertex of your Subcatchment in the map view to delete the vertex
Stop Edit - click this button to save the current edits and close the editing toolbar
Snapping - clicking this button opens the snapping window. This will be pre-populated with any shapefiles loaded in the Layers panel of your current project. You can "snap" your Subcatchment to any of these shapes. Check the box of the shape you would like to snap to and then close the snapping window. New vertices added near to the shape will now snap to the shape outline.
Undo/Redo - click these to redo/undo the previous edit made. Undo will only be available if you have made an edit, and redo will only be available if you have used undo. Neither will be available once any edits have been saved.
Close the editing toolbar using the Stop Edit button. Editing your Subcatchment will not adjust the area set in the link properties. If you need to account for a different area, edit this value in the node properties accordingly. Always ensure you save your urban network after making any edits.
