The catalogue tool allows you to add additional notes to describe any data entry, e.g. a model file, input dataset, etc. The procedure for adding a note is as follows:
After loading your catalogue in Flood Modeller, switch on the Notes column (this is not visible by default). Click on the View Settings menu within the Catalogue tab of the main toolbar. Click on Show Notes column (so it becomes ticked):
An extra column appears on the right-side of the main catalogue display. Click on the notes field of the data row you wish to edit. A pop-up text entry window is displayed for you to type in a note.
Click the Save Catalogue button in the main toolbar. The note will then be stored in the catalogue against the individual data entry.
Some rows, e.g. section headers, won’t allow you to add a note (in this case you won’t see the pop-up text entry window when you click on the notes field).
