    Structures & Features

    Article summary

Once your 2D domains have been defined, additional structures and features may be required.

Creating a z-mod feature enables you to modify the elevation of an area within your model. This can be used for specifying elevations for proposed defences, filling holes/areas of missing data in your underlying DTM, and much more. This method is more flexible than the traditional method to Add topographic features to a model.

Flood Modeller also provides functionality to Add a hydraulic structure (such as a culvert) directly into the 2D domain. Results from embedded structures can then be viewed within custom time-series plots.
