To verify, ask the user to enable logging for Codemeter (if it's not on already) by opening Codemeter Control Center, then go to File > Logging (needs to have a tick next to it). Then ask them to reproduce the problem and create and send us a cmdust.log. Instructions to do so can be found [here](https://www.wibu.com/support/faq/faq/category/codemeter-general.html#faq-1). The latest licence activity can be found towards the end of the log. Combined with the product codes from the article on [Modules](https://jacobsdigital.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Flood/pages/382926854), one can identify any licence related issues and their origin. - Version 6.0 suffers from a bug that will not let the users run simulations with the Control Module and/or the 1D Sediment Transport module. There is no work-around - ask them to upgrade Flood Modeller to a later edition (>=6.1). ## **Programmatic removal of CmAct** - Open a Windows Command Prompt or PowerShell and type the following: `"C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin\cmu32.exe" --delete-cmact-license --serial <mask>-<serial>` where - are the WIBU ID found on the left hand-side of Codemeter Control Center window. ## **Programmatic removal of CmCloud** - Open a Windows Command Prompt or PowerShell and type the following: `"C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin\cmu32.exe" --delete-cmcloud-credentials --serial <mask>-<serial>` where - are the WIBU ID found on the left hand-side of Codemeter Control Center window. ## **Confirm connection to WIBU cloud server** The URL [https://wibu.cloud/74447](https://wibu.cloud/74447) is not accessible through a browser or postman. If a user needs to test the connection, ask them to open a Windows Command Prompt or Powershell and run the following: `curl -X POST https://wibu.cloud/74447` For systems without [cURL](https://curl.se/docs/), a Powershell alternative is available: `Invoke-RestMethod -Uri "https://wibu.cloud/74447" -Method Post` In both cases, the expected response is `CmCloud!`. This confirms the system is set up correctly to communicate with its servers. On a similar note, if the users ask for the IP to whitelist on their firewall, ask them to add the name eu.wibu.cloud or wibu.cloud as the IP is dynamic and bound to change without notice.
