# The urban Model Settings window

The **Model Settings** window is used to specify the details of your 1D urban simulations. It is accessed via the right-click menu of the urban network within the Project panel.

The window is split into five tabs:

- [Dynamic Wave tab](/v1/docs/urban-settings-dynamic-wave-tab)

Each tab provides further functionality in a toolbar along the bottom.

#### Toolbar functionality

The toolbar of the **Model Settings** window provides the following functionality:

**OK** - saves changes and closes the Model Settings window.

**Cancel** - closes the Model Settings window without saving any changes made.

**Help** - opens the user manual
