# Sediment Transport

This manual describes the mobile bed sediment transport module of Flood Modeller. When used with the 1D hydraulic solvers, this module can predict sediment transport rates, bed elevations and amounts of erosion/deposition throughout a channel system. The module is run as part of the main 1D Solver hydraulics simulation and requires an additional data file. This manual is divided into the following main sections:
