After specifying one or multiple post-processes within the batch runner tool, these processes can be reviewed and edited. This is done from the Analyses pop-up window, as shown below:
A plot settings file can be re-used multiple times within a batch. For each instance the user configures which results to be plotted against each other (or plots can just contain results from a single simulation).
Furthermore, the batch runner Analyses window enables post-processing to be run in isolation (from simulations), i.e. for auto processing of already run models. This is done using the separate “Run” button provided in the post-processing section of the toolbar.
After defining one or multiple analyses, the Analyses window has the following functions accessed from buttons to the right of the table:
Add analysis – new pop-up window displayed that lists available post-processing settings files and available model simulations within current batch. Select a post-process file and tick simulations to associate to it, as shown below. Then clicking the OK button will add a new row back in Analyses table
Remove analysis – remove highlighted rows in Analyses table
View files – new pop-up window displayed listing all post processing settings files associated to current batch (i.e. psf and tcs files)
Refresh – refresh table to check for any changes in simulation status (and display these if found)
Clear log – clears any existing diagnostic information displayed in the Log tab of the Analyses window.
Validate – checks the listed tasks and reports which can be run (i.e. which have results data available). Validation results written to the Log tab in the Analyses window.
Select All – highlight all analyses specified in the table (e.g. to then run all analysis tasks).
Run – attempts to run highlighted rows in Analyses window. The progress through these tasks is displayed in the table and diagnostics from running each task are written to the Log tab in the Analyses window.
Close – closes Analyses pop-up window.
