This option can be specified in any location after the General System Parameters section. It can only be used in conjunction with channel section updating methods 2 and 3. The section data are written to files called 'filename.1', 'filename.2', etc. An example of the structure of this section of the file is shown below. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/5074bc26-a9ef-4bf4-b1de-a5c6ce628aca/Images/Documentation/SedimentTransportimagesimage155.jpg) ### Datafile Format - Plot Option Line 1 : keyword 'PLOT' Line 2 : n1 Line 3 to Line 2+n : labeli where n1 is number of ensuing node labels (may be up to 5 labels) and labeli is the node labels of sections for which the data are required. The figure below presents an example of a complete data file. Note that the text which is underlined are comments which are not usually included in the file. However, as lines between data blocks which start with a blank character are skipped over, the file as commented will be read correctly with these comments left in. ```none Title and general data Example Sediment Input File 200.0 1.0 0.4 0.0010 3 0.5 7 SORTED 0.01 2650 4 0.0 }These 2 fractions are cohesive 0.05 2650 4 0.0 }(not present in the bed) 0.150 2650 1 0.2 0.550 2650 1 0.2 1.150 2650 1 0.2 8.150 2650 1 0.2 15. 2650 1 0.2 Extreme sizes data D0D100 0.005 40 Finest two sizes are cohesive COHESIVE 0.01 2.0 0.1 0.05 2.0 2.0 Sediment inflow data QCBDY S1 }there are 7 pairs of Q:C data, C is in ppm 7 0.0 0 6.6 100 29.3 1100 32.6 1500 33.7 1820 35.3 2000 40.0 3000 NEW }inflow is finer than default distribution 0.25 0.2 0.15 0.15 0.1 0.1 0.05 ```
