# How to view urban link properties

Please note, this guide refers to the urban Conduit link, however the same method applies for urban Pump, Weir, Orifice and Outlet links.

On the **1D Urban Build tab**, initially confirm you are in **1D Urban selection mode** by ensuring the toggle is coloured blue.

Click the link you would like to access in the **map** view or in the **1D Urban Network panel** to highlight it.

There are a number of ways to then view the properties:

- In the **map** view, double-click on the link
- In the **map** view, right-click and select **1D Link Properties** from the menu
- In the **1D Urban Network panel**, double-click on row containing the link
- In the **1D Urban Network panel** , right-click and select **View/edit properties** from the menu

The link **Properties Window** will then open for editing. Remember to save any changes made.
