    How to validate simulations in the river simulation builder

    Validation checking is built into the Simulation Builder tool to check you can produce simulations based on the input information provided for each new IEF file.

    When the Build button is pressed, a validation check is undertaken to ensure that all the prerequisite files referenced are present such as the Network and Event data files. If some or all of these are not present, you will be prompted to load them:

    Furthermore, if you have previously associated the Simulation Builder to a Flood Modeller Project file, the tool will prompt you with the Project file name, as shown here:
