How to move an urban Rain Gage node

Please note it is not necessary to move Rain Gage nodes other than for visual purposes. You will specify in your Subcatchment nodes which Rain Gage should be used, therefore the placement of the node itself does not matter.

On the 1D Urban Build tab, initially confirm you are in 1D Urban selection mode by ensuring the toggle is coloured blue.

Click the node you would like to relocate in the map view to highlight it. Then right-click anywhere on the map to access the right-click menu, and select Move Nodes.

You can now click the node in the map view and drag it to a new location. When you are finished, use the right-click menu again to exit Move Nodes mode. You may need to then click the map to refresh the view.
