# How to move a Junction node

Please note, this guide refers to the urban Junction node, however the same method applies for urban Outfall, Flow-Divider and Storage nodes.  

On the **1D Urban Build tab**, initially confirm you are in **1D Urban selection mode** by ensuring the toggle is coloured blue.

Click the node you would like to relocate in the **map** view to highlight it. Then right-click anywhere on the map to access the right-click menu, and select **Move Nodes**.

You can now click the node in the **map** view and drag it to a new location. When you are finished, use the **right-click menu** again to exit **Move Nodes** mode. You may need to then click the map to refresh the view.

**Note**: The x-coordinate and y-coordinate in the node properties will be automatically updated with the new location.
