If your current network does not have certain processes currently defined, they will be greyed out. Of the process models that are defined, checkboxes allow for you to de-select to use these in the simulation as required. The **Routing model** is selected. Recall certain network configurations are only suitable for Dynamic wave routing, and this routing type should always be selected if integrating your 1D urban network with 1D river networks and/or 2D components. See 'Which routing model should I select?' (below) for further information on the advantages and limitations of the routing models. The **infiltration model** is also selected here, but recall from the [Urban Inflow](/v1/docs/1d-urban-flow) section that adjusting the infiltration method will then require adjusting the parameters in your Subcatchment nodes accordingly. A checkbox provides the option to **Allow Ponding**. This enables water that leaves the system via Junction nodes to pond, and subsequently re-enter if conditions allow. A ponded area will also need to be defined in the associated Junction nodes.
