In the General tab of the urban Model Settings window, models and routing options to be used are specified.
The Process models used are shown here. If your current network does not have certain processes currently defined, they will be greyed out. Of the process models that are defined, checkboxes allow for you to de-select to use these in the simulation as required.
The Routing model is selected. Recall certain network configurations are only suitable for Dynamic wave routing, and this routing type should always be selected if integrating your 1D urban network with 1D river networks and/or 2D components. See 'Which routing model should I select?' (below) for further information on the advantages and limitations of the routing models.
The infiltration model is also selected here, but recall from the Urban Inflow section that adjusting the infiltration method will then require adjusting the parameters in your Subcatchment nodes accordingly.
A checkbox provides the option to Allow Ponding. This enables water that leaves the system via Junction nodes to pond, and subsequently re-enter if conditions allow. A ponded area will also need to be defined in the associated Junction nodes.
