# Configure 1D simulation window

When your link-lines have been created, a linked 1D river and TUFLOW simulation can be set up.

To do this, the user needs to go to the ‘Links’ tab and select ‘TUFLOW’ for the 2D scheme, a TUFLOW control file (.tcf) must also be selected. Ensure you save your simulation to keep any changes. Your integrated simulation is now ready to run.
