How to add a Junction node

    Article summary

Please note, this guide refers to the urban Junction node, however the same method applies for urban Outfall, Flow-Divider and Storage nodes.

On the 1D Urban Build tab, initially confirm you are in 1D Urban selection mode by ensuring the toggle is coloured blue.

Click the Junction icon and it will be highlighted. Then on the map view, click the location you would like to add the junction.

The node will automatically be added to the Nodes tab of the 1D Urban Network panel. It will be pre-filled with values and options set on the Model Defaults window, recall how to edit these defaults from the Urban Networks section.

As the Multiple checkbox is ticked by default, continue to click the map in more locations to add multiple Junction nodes. Click the Junction icon again to de-select when you have finished adding the junctions.
