You can confirm which modules of Flood Modeller you have access to via the user interface, via CodeMeter, or via the Command Line. All of these options are detailed on this page.
To confirm available licences via the Flood Modeller interface:
- Open Flood Modeller and click on the Start tab.
- Select Info, to view project information, and then click on the small arrow next to License information.
- A list of all the available products and limits will appear below License information. Please note that if you are picking up licences over the network, there might be a small delay before the available products appear.
To confirm available licences using the Codemeter Webadmin page:
- Open Codemeter Control Center from the System Tray or the Windows Start Menu.
- Click on the 'WebAdmin' button in the lower-right corner of the window. Alternatively, you may use this link: http://localhost:22352/dashboard.html or open an internet browser and type it in the address bar.
- A webpage will automatically open.
- Click on the 'Container' tab at the top of the page. This lists all the containers hosted on that machine (localhost - see the field at the bottom of the page). If the licence is a network one, depending on your local IT settings, you may be able to view the containers available on the licence server(s) available to your machine. To do so, please click on 'Current Server' at the bottom of the page and select the relevant server.
- From the list, select the container that has the Flood Modeller licences by clicking on its name (next to the container ID).
- A list of all the products available with your licence will appear, along with other information such as expiration date and quantity.
To confirm available licences using the command line utility:
Since version 6.0, Flood Modeller offers a command line utility that allows you to check what licence is available to your machine, based on your settings in the formsed.ini file.
- Open a Windows Explorer window and go to
C:\Program Files\Flood Modeller\bin
. - Go to 'File' and select 'Open Windows PowerShell' or 'Open Windows Command Prompt', whichever is available to you.
- Type
.\test_my_licence_config.exe
and 'enter'. - There is a long list of details regarding the licence available to this machine. Towards the end of the output, there are some useful messages in case the result is not what you expected or there were errors.
