Manning's Equation

k² = A² R^4/3 / n²

n = Manning's roughness coefficient

R = hydraulic radius = (A/P)

k² = 8 g R A² / f

where f is a solution to the equation:

1/Öf = -2log₁₀{(n / 14.83R) + (2.52 / Re Öf)}

and:

Re = Reynolds number

R = hydraulic radius = (A/P)

P = wetted perimeter
